Welcome to CIPRAME!
It is a pleasure to announce the 1st International Conference of Medical Practices (CIPRAME). The 1st CIPRAME was planned based on the need of a multidisciplinary approach to treat patients. The topic we chose for this event was cardiovascular diseases due to its enormous prevalence, its severity and the difficulty of having a global view of the patient who is treated by several specialists at the same time.
Objectives of the Conference:
The 1st CIPRAME- CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES aims to satisfy the need of the modern physician who requires not only a regular update, but also a deep knowledge of the patient’s problem. Our strategy was to invite experts from Brazil and from abroad to give talks on gold standard methods of diagnose and treatment of cardiovascular diseases and their risk factors. Each talk will last 50 minutes, which will allow the speaker enough time to present the recommended guidelines and to share their expert opinion on the proposed topic. After the talk, the attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and debate the topic. All talks will be held in the same auditorium, which has the objective of integrating the different specialists attending the conference and providing all attendees an overview of different aspects of cardiovascular diseases. Each speaker will suggest the most important paper related to his/her talk and four other supplemental papers. We will provide a summary of the main paper in Portuguese and the translation of the abstracts of the other four papers along with the conference’s program. The main idea of this conference is that you, CIPRAME’s participant, enrich your knowledge to improve your medical practice. We hope that the presented lectures will be immediately applied to our medical practice, which will certainly benefit our patients!
